ABOUT - ADM Sails

ADM sails cater for Sailing Dinghies, yachts and power boats. We are able to provide any sail or cover making and repairs from our UK sail loft in Heybridge, Essex.

Andrew McIvor has been working as a sailmaker for over 20 years, working for various sail lofts gaining a vast experience in both traditional and modern sail and cover work methods. Being a keen yachtsman, Andrew has been involved in the yachting industry his whole career. As well as sail and cover making, Andrew enjoys carrying out custom projects based on client's specifications.

Andrew is a keen sailor and member of Blackwater Sailing club where he races both dinghies and yachts competitively. As well as racing at his club Andrew can be found at open meetings and regattas country wide.

Having competed in several national championships with a top 10 finish in all classes sailed from dinghies to keel boats and competing in many yacht regattas gives Andrew plenty of knowledge about what customers require from their Sails for both cruising and racing.

Andrew has also completed the Lowestoft boat building course completing his NVQ and City and Guilds diploma in Marine engineering. Building his fireball dinghy and working on traditional timber boats as his college project he can help with advise in most projects.
